My pieces are created entirely by hand using professional jewellery-making techniques. Each item is made in Gatineau, and engraved with my maker’s mark, certifying its quality.
The ginkgo biloba leaf, with its beautiful curving lines, is my main source of inspiration, and my calling card. The tree is known for its longevity and surprising resistance to disease and fire. The ginkgo biloba was one of the rare species to survive the explosion of the atomic bomb in Hiroshima on August 6, 1945. This dioecious tree may be either male or female. Males have cylindrical pollen cones, while females have ovules. The bilobate leaf of the ginkgo is a symbol of love.
I differ from most other jewellery artists in that I work with a new precious metal, Argentium Silver®, composed of 93.5% pure silver. I am a registered member of Argentium International Ltd., which authorizes me to use the 935 hallmark on my jewellery, as well as the winged unicorn, both guarantees of the quality of Argentium Silver.
